We're considering switching Evie from Aptamil stage 1 to the Comfort version due to her reflux and colic but I've been reading that the Comfort milk HAS to be made up with hot water so I just wondered if there were any mums out there using Apatamil Comfort what method they use to make up the bottles? Do you make up a few in advance and put them in the fridge?

At the moment we put the water in the bottle in advance, and then heat up the bottle and add the powder as needed but that's with the Stage 1 stuff.
Any tips on how to make the Comfort in advance or make the preparation easier would be gratefully received!

Oh and one more question.. we use Avent stage 2 teats and I wondered which Avent teats would be the best for the Comfort formula?

Thanks :flower:

Hey we use the Aptamil comfort, and i make them up by boiling the kettle, letting it cool for half hour, put in the scoops, quickly cool and pop in fridge, i make up a days worth in advanced. We started with the size 1 teats, and changed to size 2 at 3 months, it is thicker but not majorly so.

im using aptamil comfort and i boil the kettle and use it after 30mins or so, if kettle is still warm i keep using it and add formula to water and warm bottle if needed, tho i did need size 2 teats as milk is thicker and doesnt go through slow flow ones.dont think it matters much about water tbh, i not had any problems

Thanks ladies
We're holding off on the Comfort milk for the moment as she seems to have been improving this last few days.
But I will take the advise on board should we go with it :)

I use warm water, & we use teat size 2 as it's a bit thick
