So in the kit's from FR, are the flat FRER's that come in the "test and confirm" box that has a flat FRER and a Digi in the same box. Is the FRER the same test as the old flat style FRER's or are they different? Are they as sensitive as the old ones? It's the only FRER I have left and I don't want to go ahead and use it if it's not going to come up on there yet.....FX'd

Its the same old style frer, just paired with a digi. Same sensitivity because its the same test as they used to put out.

Are you sure? Were they putting out those kit's before they started releasing the new style test's or the FRRR's?

You know that FR is on Amazon selling off all the old stock (what's left of the flat one's) for 17$'s a 3 pack! :growlmad: Their new curved one's on Amazon and half of every where else are 12 bucks for a 3 pack, and the flat one's have been discontinued!!!! So they SHOULD be cheaper then their new one's. Which can only make me assume that FR has already experienced a huge dip in sales since their switch and they have realized that the flat one's are in demand and a commodity now, and they are milking it for all it's worth with their remaining stock on the flat ones, at the expense of their loyal consumers. What other company have you seen discontinue an item and as they are offing the remaining stock, they not only charge you the same amount they were one the shelf initially, but actually inflate the price for a CLOSE OUT item!!! It enrages me.

Everything I've ever used that has stopped being made, when it went on close out, the price dramatically dropped, to at least 40% off if not 50-75% off, not went up. Now a yr later when it's private sellers that's another story bc they are no longer in production and hard to find, but never never immediately and never from the manufacturer themselves either. It's just despicable.

Im sure. They have pink packaging for frer and teal packaging for frrr. I used both. Teal is a pretty color so i have to say i liked the frrr better for that reason too but anyway, its the old style frer in that box. The packaging is pink not teal.

so since they are discontinuing the flat PT's, does that mean that they "test and confirm" kit's will eventually phase out as well? or maybe once they run out of flat PT stock, they will switch up the packaging and put a curved one in there instead and still sell a "test and confirm" kit, they will just have the new crap test in it in the future... "boo" :growlmad:

Theyll phase out.

Thats why i suggested getting the FRER OPK kit. It has OPK and the old style too. :) I didnt know about the digi and FRER though! Ill have to look!

Yes, you are right about the new look of the packaging. It is more appealing to the eye at least for me and you, but that's about all the positive I can say about it. I did do some more research about the new blue tooth PT and have to admit it's a lot cooler and useful then I initially thought, bc I initially thought it was stupid. But I watched a YouTube tutorial IRL the other day of someone actually using one and it's actually pretty neat, but I would ONLY purchase one if I had already confirmed a pregnancy, bc they are way too expensive (although FR is doing a 100% rebate right now all the way until jan 2017 so you can get your money back on it) to use as just a regular everyday PT, but if you are pregnant the features available to you through their app that links in with it is really nice. I will probably buy one with the rebate sticker, so it's free in the end, and use it for this pregnancy if I am in fact pregnant....bc I'm still having a hard time really believing it....lol....

The pregnancy test pro is just their gold digital test but its linked to bluetooth capability. Why need a phone screen to show pregnant when the digital pregnancy test does. Waste of money imo. Their app is already free. Connecting a pregnancy test that they have already had on the market and selling it one for $15+ is a mere cashflow tactic. Nothing proprietary here.

Here is a bulk listing on amazon for the product but for good prices on them, bc they don't sell very much go to the other link:

https://www.amazon.com/First-Respon...=8-5&keywords=first+response+test+and+confirm

These are all over eBay, ALL the time, that's where I got mine from:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...ponse+test+and+confirm+pregancy+test&_sacat=0

(BTW- a lot of the time, even if the listing isn't a OBO listing, you can click on contact the seller and send them an offer for the listing and they will either send you back and official "accept this offer" link or they will haggle with you a little bit, but you ultimately get it for less then the listing majority of the time! I've gotten some KILLER deals by doing this here lately on fertility/conception supplies. Like my CBEFM and 182 testing sticks for 62 dollars!!!!)

Yes, exactly, that was too my initial thoughts, and yes, I know the app is already free. But for a yr you can get the tests for absolutely FREE, so you are not losing anything, and a lot of them have some kind of rebate on them if it's not the free one, so you are only paying 5 dollars for it if you don't get it for free, and after watching the video I thought it was kind of neat, but only if you already knew if would come up pregnant, I dont think it's a test to use all the time, and I think it's kind of waste just bc they are charging way too much for them. Now maybe if they came in a 20 pack for reasonable price (and REALLY reasonable) then maybe I would consider it, just bc I like the "while you wait" feature and the timer included with it, but other then that it's a waste of their time. What they should be working on is a test that tells you earlier then 6 days previous to AF- like picks up levels of 5+ (only for the thick skinned TTCer's) OR working on a monitor that sync's in with an app so you can auto transfer your data, and records all you data, not just BDing and AF like the CB, and does all the stuff that FF does but all in one, and has sticks that do LH, estrogen, progesterone, and PT's, all in one stick(so 4 lines that come up), and as soon as it detect's HCG it pops up to surprise you that you with a screen with confetti and ballons and shit saying "yay! You're Pregnant!!!" Instead of like the CB that you can only use the seperate PT sticks the last three days of your cycle. It should also let you record temps and have a graph that tracks the levels (peaks and lows) of your hormones throughout your entire cycle so you can see everything is working properly. As well as have a function (with wifi/bluetooth) so that you can email your OB or specialist your monthly report of graphs and shit, and come out with a compatible BBT thermometer that sync's with your monitor, so you don't even have to enter in your temp anymore similar to the Wink that Kindara came out with. NOW- a project like THAT would definitely be worth their while. They would blow CB out of the water with the monitors if they could come up with one that did all that. Maybe even incorporate the technology of that other monitor that has a oral and vaginal sensor that monitors something (I can't remember exactly what it was ATM) but it's tech. is proven to tell you up to 7 days previous to when you will O, not just a guess, like the CB monitors.....Anyways, I so wish they would listen to their consumers.....I would of deffo bought a product like that that came as a COMPLETE kit for a REASONABLE price and the kit came with 2-3 months of sticks for FREE initially. But after that they were still AFFORDABLE to keep up with.
