Hi ladies,

It got me thinking after the the new Assisted Conception section has been created... about how many of us here are TTC-ing naturally? Im not eligible for IVF until next year so having to carry on as normal.

hello hun

ive been ttc a year next month, naturally, my doc wont refer me for 3 months yet!

What!! Thats rubbish! Im hoping you wont need it though xx :hugs:

i know! she is doing an sa on dh, but then wont refer me! how long have you been ttc?

I'm not, I have to get my bmi down, but I'm hoping and praying we will start next year! xxx

I am been TTCing for 3 years now, saw an FS after a year and done 6 cycles of clomid. Am doing another cycle of clomid this month and I'm using the duofertility monitor for a year. I won't be doing AC at all and will continue naturally.

carebear - how are you getting on with the duofertility, i'm getting one next month hopefully?

Im TTC-ing with clomid for now :flower: x

I am now on Cycle 14, TTC#1. DH is having S/A done next week. Then if needed my ob/gyn will order a HSG for me. Starting to get a little nervous about it all. Glad to see a group of people "in the middle - not just starting out ttc, but not yet to iui/ivf" - I started to feel like I didn't really belong anywhere. Good luck to all of you ladies!!!

Can anyone remind me how to change my info - I see I haven't posted since I was on cycle 5!

Hiya,

I'm on Clomid and we'll be looking at IUI in the New Year if nothing happens with this...good luck!!

Hi ladies,

I was TTC for 20 ish cycles... had a break to get married and no at the end of cycle 2 sine starting again.

Tried 4 cycles of clomid = :bfn:
HSG = Clear
SA = OK count poor progressive motile result

Best of luck with your all your journeys!! :dust: :dust:

Hey Ladies,

Been TTC for a long time now. Depo wore off in August 2009 and still not having regualr periods.

Doctors wont help me because i already have two children and have had one miscarriage.

So just trying to be patient

xxx

hii, ive been TTC for year nd half now and have never used AC, i am on the waiting list for a HSG but the waiting list is about 4 months long, i feel theres nothing more i can do till then but sit and wait

Hiya, the only assistance we're getting at the moment is Clomid, this is my first cycle using it and I've got a 6 month supply, also waiting for an HSG appointment.

Hope we all get a BFP soon and won't need to moved onto the assisted conception board.

xx

Tor81, hope u dont mind me asking, did your gp prescribe clomid? or did u have to go to an fs? also, did he prescribe it for not ovulating? i ov, but have been thinking about asking gp for clomid to try. thanks x

Not too bad, its only my second cycle on it, last cycle it predicted ovulation but I then got a big drop in temperature 4 days after apparent ovulation which they don't seem to be able to explain! I know I didn't ovulate and the green showing that fertile period has faded. I waiting to see if it will take the confirmed ovulation away and show an anovulatory cycle last time. This cycle I'm using the monitor and taking clomid so it will be interesting to see any differences in temps. I'm hoping to get a "proper" cycle of temps for me so I have something to compare to. The monitor is good though gives you about a weeks notice before your fertile period which I find really useful! Good luck!

ohh wow thats brilliant isn't it! thank you for replying i havent found anyone else who had used one before to it has been really helpfull

will def get one soon then :)

Nic - The FS prescribed me the clomid... but I have seen ppl get it from the doc. The good thing about clomid is that it doesnt just help with OV it also helps to mature the eggies. Good luck!

Go nicb, of course I don't mind you asking, that's what we're all here for :)

GP referred mr to FS so it was them who put me on Clomid although I have read on here that some girls are prescribed it directly from GP. I've been given it because they said it sounds like I have PCOS and so might not be ovulating every cycle, if at all. I think I do but not going to say no to any extra help I'm offered!
