are these pineapple rumours fact?

Now im feeling alot healthier me and oh have planned our meals and snacks for the next couple of weeks.

lots of different fruits. We both love pineapple. But Like most things there is a horror story or 3 about it being harmful to baby.

It will not cause miscarriage will it having tinned or ready chopped fruit salads containing it? Xx

I sure hope not. I have pineapple every day! Pineapples and natural pineapple juice are sometimes all I can eat. Also they make my stomach feel better when its upset or I have that over stuffed

Oh, I have heard that they are supposed to bring about labor but that IS a myth. So if that is what you are referring to then I'd say it's a myth/ rumor

I think the talk is 'pineapples help to start of labor' well ... At about 40 weeks with my daughter I ate the biggest amount of pineapple ever... Nope .. Nothing

Like PP said, I think it's just a myth! Don't worry

The chemical that is rumoured to help implantatation / induce labour is mostly in the core, and to have any effect you would have to eat a LOT - like 5 pineapple cores or something. So pineapple is fine, enjoy it!

Ok, i thought this was the craziest thing my doc told... dont eat pineapple. If you knew how much i ate BEFORE i knew i was pregnant, you would think it woudln't be possible. But she told me not to eat AT ALL and while surprising i read up on it after and found out why. sound scary!

I tried so hard to go into labor with my last , I ate a whole pineapple 3 days in a row lol. All it did was make me sick. Really sick haha

Trust me it does nothing my little man was 2 weeks late I ate more pineapple than anyone never shifted him lol
