Are you having maternity pics done and when?

I love looking back at my maternity pictures knowing which little life was inside of me at the time! With my first I was super new to all things pregnancy and mommy wise so I just snapped a few on my cameras self timer, no iPhones then yet lol my second one I took some of my own semiprofessional pics of my family and I and this time I plan on having a good friend from my church take them but I'm trying to decide when...I'm thinking around 30 weeks.

Anyone else planning on maternity pics? Whose taking them and how far along will you be?

I want to get some done, did get any done with my last 2 but with this being our last I would like some done, a friend of my hubby's did a little bit of photography so hoping he'll do it.

I think I will because this is my first baby and she is literally a miracle baby. I will them when I actually look pregnant lol. Hopefully that will be by 30 weeks.

I have a lady at work that just won an award for best children's photographer. She's agreed to do mat & newborn photos for us. For the pregnancy photos she wants to do an underwater session as well as a couples session in the mountains. The underwater session will be done in August when the outdoor pools are open and the Rocky mountain session will be in Sept when I'm 36-37 weeks when the trees are turning colours. She likes to do the newborn session within the first 10 days of birth. Apparently they sleep lots more in this timeframe making for easier posing and they still have that rounded newborn appearance. She's charging us $900 for all 3 sessions, a set of photos, and the digitals incase we want to blow them up. I thought that was a pretty good price considering our wedding photos were three times as much!

I would hhae loved some but I don't show till about 34 weeks and even my bump isn't a really obvious big round belly. .I always get bump envy so don't think pics would look great for me

I did mine when I was just over 30 weeks. I decided to do it now instead of later because it gets hot here during July. I didn't want to be super pregnant and sweaty for my pictures because we had them done outdoors.
