argh!!! so upset

I'm so frustrated with my small bump and people telling me i'm small.

I'm 27 weeks, and honestly, unless i wear a tight t-shirt you can barely tell i'm pregnant.

I don't think my bump has gotten much bigger in the last 2/3 weeks, but the doctor said everything is great. i listen to her heartbeat every day and its strong.

but i'm feeling SO upset!! I wake up and automatically get mad because i don't feel like i'm getting bigger at all.

I was shopping and someone asked me how far along i am, and i said 27 weeks and then she said "what!!! your so small!?!?!"

I feel so helpless, like i'm never going to get bigger.

can anyone make me feel better? i hate going shopping because i wonder if i'll ever have the baby! i feel like somethings wrong because i've only gained like 10 pounds and im so far along.

...........on the other hand... my brother and his girlfriend finally got engaged last night, and announced that they are 11w5d pregnant with their second!! so im going to be an aunty to my 2nd beautiful nephew or niece in November!

Hiya, sorry i don't have much advice except most people say the same to me too. In the last week though my bump seems like it has doubled so the same might happen to you soon x

wow we couldnt be more different i love when people tell me im really small. i got quite upset today because a woman thought she was being funny asking if i was having twins.

It's not that I don't like being small, I just worry that she's not growing enough. I do like my bump I just get scared that she's not big enough. :/

i wouldnt worry bout it depends on ur body shape ect some people just dont show much also a lady at my playgroup is heavilly preg now but a few weeks ago it looked like she only had a pot belly not a bump now shes huge, i remember that my bump started growing like nothing else from bout 30 weeks last pregnancy

aww hun don't worry, my bump is still small, and I'm 39 weeks today

everyone is always saying stuff like "Your bump is so small" "are you sure theres anything in there" etc etc.

Next time ask them why their bump is so big when theyre not even pregnant. that will shut them up

Just think though hun, the smaller bump you have, the less stretch marks your likely to get

dont worry.. i figured that there's ALWAYS somebodyyyyyy who's bigger than you..
like i don't have a huge bump.. but she's spread out.. cause i can feel her really high and really low - so i'm guessing she's just squished in.. but the midwife says she's measuring a few days to a week ahead..
maybe it's the same for you.. maybe your baby is just spread out and laying down..
i get that too.. but i think it's partly because people expect you to be the same as if you were like 39 weeks.. it's strange.. it's like you grow throughout pregnancy - your huge bump doesn't just pop out of no where.. but even people who have babies seem to compare you to their 39 week bump thinking it was earlier.. iykwim?
