ASDA delivery cancelled because I'm a security risk?!!

id ring them we had a massive problem with there nappies burning my little boy i sent three emails and they never rang back even when itys something serious

We cant order from tesco because the previous tenant threatened to stab a delivery driver as he forgot her cigarettes & apple juice...
So we have to get next door to order for us to there address...
Xx

:haha: This made me chuckle and I bet it's something like this that's got my delivery cancelled!x

Yeah more than likely!!! LOL
Its a shame 1 person has to ruin it for every1..
Doing a big tesco shop isnt ideal with a dodgy knee, back and a 5 month old..
Xx

Well as expected they came back with a pretty standard reply and said sorry blah blah blah can't help you so call this number blah blah blah but the number is the same one I already called before when they wouldn't tell me anything!! I might give them a call tomorrow and ask to be put through to the supervisor or something xx

Thanks ladies. Still no answer but I'll update you when an email comes through. No doubt it'll be some standard email but hopefully there are more contact details to find out more info if that is the case.

As for the blacklisting, I looked it up earlier and found on The Telegraph website a piece confirming that agencies don't blacklist properties anymore. But maybe specific places are flagged for warning? I don't know, it seems such a nuisance.

Oh and Lellow, I'm in a similar situation still getting previous tenants post. Several weeks back we had a few items delivered for them. I had a couple of 'whilst you were out' cards from royal mail which I obviously couldn't pick up but also had 2 items delivered when I was in. Didn't know what to do with them as there was no return address and then one day recently, previous tenant slips a note in my door saying she had accidently ordered items to my address and could I ring her to arrange for them to be picked up?! I told her to update her address immediately as I was receiving a tonne of mail for her and then she sent her husband round to pick them up! Who 'accidently' gets items delivered to the completely wrong address? It just seemed so odd.

They don't blacklist in terms of credit rating anymore but they may put down certain properties as being a security risk to mail order/delivery people. I hate it when previous tenants get stuff sent to your house; our old house the woman told her kid's school she still lived there and we kept getting worried letters from the school about his poor attendance; not to mention all the threatening letters from debt collectors; they even somehow managed to claim benefits from our house despite them never picking up their mail (and hence having an up to date proof of address); dodgy or what?! ALso last year we were doing a mutual exchange with another social housing tenant; before anything was signed she was getting mail sent here, she then pulled out of the mutual exchange for no real reason and I had to contact these people and say she has never lived here :growlmad:xx
