Just need a bit of advice im trying to tighten our belts and the little angels nappies seem to very reasonably priced i was just wondering if any of you lovely ladies use these nappies and how they compare to Huggies which im using at the moment,

Also just wondering what are the best own brand wipes to use?

Thank you :flower::flower:

i used huggies until harry was 10 months as i had some vouchers. They kept leaking at night. I bought ASDA's to save a few pennies when the vouchers ran out and OH MY GOD they are amazing!!!! we've not had one leak since!!!

best nappies we've ever used! and we use their wipes too. no probs at all.

hope this helps!

Ive used the asda brand - they're fine although they feel a bit more papery than pampers (never used huggies so can't compare) - to be honest I prefer tesco own brand they feel a bit softer. As for wipes either tesco or asda brand are very good - I've always used unfragranced ones.

WE're using them at the moment with Lo and we have no problems :) Would def buy them again. I find them shaped more like pampers tho.

Def saves money :D

I've used Pampers Baby Dry since Poppy was born and I really liked them, but a few weeks ago the Asda Little Angels Nappies were on offer so I bought a box and I am so Impressed with them! I think I actually like them better than Pampers. They seem slightly bigger too, which I love as my little girl is a little chubster! Definitely try them-Im sure you will be pleasantly suprised.

As for wipes, I like Huggies Pure best. I've only tried Waitrose Own Brand wipes and I liked them. I've heard the Little Angels ones are great though. :flower:

Thank goodness for this forum thats all i can say! thank you for your advice out with huggies in with little angels!

Nappies are so damn expensive and you get through so many more thany you think you will before LO arrives

Thanks Ladies :flower:

We use them and think they are brill!! Besides being a lot cheaper than the brands, Huggies gave my LO nappy rash and Pampers leaked a lot and also urine smelt really, really strong when LO was in them. Boots own brand weren't so good either I don't think.

There was a thread on this the other day, there's lots of helpful replies in there  ; https://www.babyandbump.com/baby-club/534552-asdas-nappies.html

I absolutely love them!!!!
So much better than Pampers and Tesco :happydance:

I prefer Tesco but Asda would probably come in at a close 2nd, above Pampers and Huggies! You cant tell they're cheaper at all, in fact out of all of them if you didnt know the brand I'd think of Pampers as the cheapest, they're thinnest and smell awful lol xx

We used pampers as when callum was first born we had a lot of different branded nappies, but they'd leak at night a lot, the little angels nappies are brilliant though and last all through the night with no leaking for him, they're at a fraction of the price too which is great xx

we use cloth nappies but connor gets sore in a cloth nappy at night so we use littleangels and i love them i used pampers and huiggies when he was younger and honestly dont think there much cop i love tesco and asda nappies

i prefer tesco to asda ones but i'm now using Boots own and i have to say i think i like them the best and they seem cheaper than asda/tesco too! had no problems with any own brand but last time i went to tesco the size 1's were the same price as pampers and you got less in the pack :s

i use tesco/asda own wipes. i much prefer them to pampers, they're not as wet and the lid closes so much easier!

man, i should get promotional fees from the supermarkets! lol

Would definitely recommend Asda's Little Angels range - I've been using them for over a year and had no probs at all :flower:

Im a real 'big name brand is best' person (yes i know its ridiculous) and have been using pampers since the babies were born. After seeing several people on here mention the asda nappies and how good they are, and having my babies poo come out of the sides of their pampers every time and wee sometimes up their backs at night, i thought id buy a small back of the asda nappies to try them. I think they are great!! The padding goes all the way up the back rather than stopping part way like the pampers do.

I'm definitely sold on the asda nappies and am no longer a 'nappy snob', lol! xx

I must be in the minority then, cos I found the asda nappies leaked terribly. We've had no problems with pampers though.

As for wipes, we've used every sort going I think as we were bought about 50 packs when lo was born! The best are asda's own or johnsons, found huggies the worst.

The little Angels are the best, IMHO. If we had a decent ASDA more nearby we'd only buy them. I hate the pampers they have nowadays, the chemical smell is awful

We use Little Angels and Huggies, i think i prefer the Little Angels more because they arent as bulky and are bigger in size :o)

i was going through so many vests with poo leaking up the back of pampers as there not so padded, thought i'd give asdas a shot and havn't looked back!
So much less leaks (still had the odd one but tbf 'those' poos would have leaked out of any nappy)
Now he's on solids he doesnt have runny poo's but i still prefer asdas there great!

We use Asda Little Angels nappies all the time and have never had any problems they're brilliant and Amelia's not even leaking in the morning when she's been in the same nappy for 12 hours! Also we use the Asda wipes they do them in fragranced and fragrance free and they're 4 packs for £3 at the moment

I love the asda ones and tbh the tesco ones are pretty decent as well.
I hate huggies and pampers are just overpriced compared to asda, sainsbury or tesco owns.

I'm actually using pampers atm but only because my mum got me a 4 month supply of it. :haha: Good thing LO gets on well with them.
