Asked this elsewhere - due date question

Do *you* go by the date or your last period or do you use a calculator that factors in the length of your cycles?

To elaborate, if I go by my last cycle, I'm due August 29 - if I go by length of cycle, I'm due September 2.

My doctor has changed my due date on a few of my former pregnancies, so I'm assuming he will again, but I was curious how you all calculate yours.

with factoring cycle lenght then mine got pushed back 2 more days (irregular cycles before hand was always a possibility) at my 12 week datiing scan.

best to wait until your dating scan and they will tell you your EDD as mine changed by 1 week and 1 day

For now go by you lmp andfactor in cycle, longer cycle likely later ovulation you will get more accurate date at dating scan

iv always been put back a few weeks at dating scan hoping its not the case with this one x
