i do not believe anyone is trying to take the thunder away, just making the op aware that getting a sex at this time is a 50/50 thing and is not totally accurate though it "can be" its is no where near 100 percent and more then a few times the people who do get it end up finding out that it was in fact the other gender. AS you see others have put this down already.....I just think we trying to say so that you dont put your heart on one sex and then get disappointed if it does by chance change on you or so you dont run out and buy all blue stuff and then have to redo it,.....
the scan further on is more accurate though no scan is 100 percent as there has been a few (its a something else) then expected its not unheard of and does happen i would still bet more money on the later scan for accuracy then the one done at 14 weeks......
im very happy and excited that you got to see you beautiful healthy baby , that must have been so wonderful and fun and exciting!! ..congrats to you and may you have the rest of your pregnancy happy and healthy..xx
my baby had its back to us with its legs wide open lol. i actually wanted a girl but i'm so over the moon with my boy. it was so very obvious it was a boy and the sonographer said so aswel x it was an nhs scan yes x
Congrats! It's probably a boy, just just wait before buying until confirmed. I recently had 2 friends told boy at 16 weeks and they ended up being girls! I had a scan at 15+6 and there was no doubt he was a boy!
i just wanted to show that this happens way more then people talk about...getting told one sex definite several time during pregnancy and the it turns out to be something else..
these are links to girl mistaken for boy and boy mistaken for girl when they said they where 10p0 percent for several ultrasounds..(oops)...
i dont usually google but this time i wanted to see for myself how much more it happens then i know..
not saying it is wrong to take the word...they where right with me but later on....
this backs it up for me...listen to scans later on ...all these people talking about it is very interesting
Found out yesterday that we are indeed still having a little boy called Tyler. We are so happy. Even felt him kick twice yesterday for the first time xxx
Yep I can def tell in the 1st ultrasound that he was a boy. If you have a good ultrasound tech at around 14 weeks they will be able to tell. They were right for all 4 of my kids
