I dont know what to do. I am so sick. I feel so dehydrated. I pee only once a day and when I do its dark brown. I'm weak. I cant function. I cant even send my 4 yr old to school today because to get her ready, make her snack, get her on the bus, I just dont have it in me to do it all. DH told his boss from the start if I get sick hes gonna have to stay home for a while and his boss said they can work something out. I just emailed DH and explained to him I need help. I cant do this alone. I havent been eating nor drinking in 3 days. Im cramping and my kidney hurts probably due to an infection since Im not drinking any water. I havent thrown up thank God but Ive gotten close to it so I stop eating. Everything tastes funny ever since I got a cold. I dunno if this is gonna last or its because I have a cold but in the mean time I need some type of help. All I do is lay here and cry and look at my kids and tell myself "this isnt fair to them."...and it really isnt. I cant even take care of them the right way.:cry:

Is your hubby going to come home and take care of you? I think you need to see a Doctor. This isn't normal ms.

:( I havent heard anything back from him yet. I really hate this. I dunno if its ms, hypermesis kicking in or because I have a cold. But why cant I function. No drinking, no eating. I try but I simply cant. I may need to go to the ER for IV if I cant get anything inside of me at home. I seriously thought ms was gonna skip me altogether this time.:nope:

I agree.... see your doc. My sister was soooo sick, like you, they put her on IV fluids to get her hydrated. She lost weight in her first Tri too. There are things that can help you, but your doc needs to be involved.

Good luck with everything!!!

When I first got pregnant I was 185. I went to the doctors on saturday...175. I'm still losing weight and I'm not even vomiting. Its just me not eating nor drinking because my body wont allow me to. I dont get it.

I would definitely see the doctor ASAP and have someone home with you. Dehydration to that extent can make you pass out, you don't want that to happen when you are home alone with little ones. You really need to get some fluids in you. I hope you feel better soon.

I was awful and dropped weight but luckily my husband was able to pop out of work to bring things to me, i think you need to see your doctor, as when i was bad my midwife said make sure i stay hydrated, i hope it gets better for you soon :hugs: xx

Go to emerge. At 6 weeks I went to emerge with a cold and just feeling like trash. They gave me an IV and sent me home. Yesterday at nearly 10 weeks that and cold was checked by my Dr. It is now double pneumonia and I've got to take a course of antibiotics. She said when you're pregnant your immune system is very weakened...so little colds can escalate quickly.
Better safe than sorry. Feel better!!

You need to go to the hospital for fluids if you've gone that long without drinking and have pain in your kidney's. I had to do the same and my doctor has told me if at any point I get that bad again to just go straight there. :hugs:

Hyperemesis is normally associated with severe sickness, so the fact you haven't been sick is good. You do need to see a dr if you haven't had anything to drink in 3 days as you're putting your baby at risk. Dehydration is really serious during pregnancy. It's better to eat and throw up, rather than just avoiding eating all together. Ice pops are a good way of getting fluids in small doses.

I'd definitely go get an IV. Dehydration isn't something to mess around with. Drink up or go to the hospital!

Like others said, not drinking for that long is a concern. Don't worry about food too much but can you try to get at least some liquid down? Herbal tea (hot or cold) works well for me, as does straight fruit juice and chocolate milk. Or try eating a freeze pop or some ice chips/cubes? If its be easier, some fruit might help as well, like apple or peaches or even baby apple purée from a jar or pouch. I know it's horrible feeling that you might be sick but please try. If it does come back up, it's probably time for the ER. Hope you feel better soon!

I think you need to see a doctor asap because it sounds like you might need to be admitted to hospital.
I had really bad morning sickness 24/7 with all my other four but never as bad as not being able to keep water down.
At the moment I feel really sick pretty much all the time but eating very little, so it helps to avoid throwing up quite as much, also get bad headaches and feel i can;t function properly and with it's being school holidays I feel bad not dong much with the kids, but the older two seem to understand. The weather is not helping either.

If you can't keep water down it is serious esp if your kidneys are starting to hurt. Get some medical advise.

Thanks everyone - DH is coming home but it will take well over an hr as they have him 50 miles away from the house, plus he's waiting on someone to take his place, and he's about an hr or so away from the job site.

My mom is coming by to bring me something to eat. Hopefully I can get it down. It's a very weird feeling. Definitely not anything I've ever felt before.

If I don't get better by tonight I'll be going to the ER for some fluids.

You should probably go get fluids even if you do feel better. Dehydration is difficult to recover from.

Poor u... Go see a dr so they can prescribe meds. I was exactly like that until I started diclectin and now I'm feeling better as I get closer to 12 weeks... I still can't even look at water so I drink ice tea or juice. Have warm soup, just as long as its dome kind of liquid

im on zofran.

im eating tuna rigt now n its so hard but im trying :(

stick to simple foods n liquids that you can keep down just sip your stomach will reject anything in large qualities because you havent had food or drink for so long, you will need some IV fluids even if you start to be able to eat /drink something as your body is using all its stores to keep you and baby alive right now and it needs nourishment and quickly, ive had a few days of bringing up everything ive eaten but managed to keep fluids down ok due to the flu I have
