Do what you can afford but I do think if its a sit down dinner offering wine is nice

Do what you what. I don't and most of my family and friends don't drink, for religious reasons, we did have some people at our wedding who did drink and I think they were offered something as well an non alcoholic for the toasts, but other than that, no, we did have bottles of non alcoholic in the tables. But there was a bar so people could get whatever they wanted there.

I imagine people knew that about they came as everyone knows our religious stance, so I dint think anyone was offended.
My wedding was a little odd though lol. We had a day wedding and left our reception about 6pm ... People did know this lol, and the drive back to Scotland (wedding was in Wales) as we had an evening reception the next day their.

We didn't provide any drinks at that one, but again there was a bar and people knew what to expect.
