I have found a few that say they work as early as 10-12 weeks. I was thinking of getting one. Anyone know anything about this one?

It's the same one, just listed on different sites and the first one is a bit cheaper.

I rented one from heartbeatsathome.com and it works really well. Its not too expensive, and you can choose how many months you want it for. Its fun being able to find the heartbeat. I would wait til you are closer to 12 weeks to use it because I had a doc appt at 11 weeks and she had a hard time finding it, it took a little while. But now I can find it quickly:)

I have the MAS babywatcher doppler and got the HB in my nineth week. Not the easiest to find so early on though so don't panic if you get one.

It worked out cheaper buying my doppler than renting it but then again people buy them and dont like to continue use where others (like me) make good use of them x

I am borrowing my couison's it says you can start as early as 10 weeks, I love mine, use it everynight. Her's is an expensive one though..about 400 US Dollars

I just went out and bought the prenatal heart to heart listening system. I bought it from babies are us for 30 dollars and it works awesome! Took a while to find the heart beat. But I sat and listenend for almost 20 mins. She was kicking the shit out of my abdomen though it was hard to hear her heart while she was moving around in there lmao.

How soon can you use it? The one I saw in the stores, you couldn't hear the heartbeat until 7 months.

I dont think you can use this one until your about 20-21 weeks. I just bought it today so I dont know if it would have worked for me a month ago...

I have the one turbo is talking about, all you hear is sounds before the third trimester is what it says

I can hear the heartbeat. It's not very strong right now but I can hear it :)

When I first got it I thought I had it because I heard movement, but it was just my pulse, like Turbo said I think its probally better after 20 weeks :)

Strong in what way?

Not the easiest of things sometimes I found I could hear a faint hb on one spot of my tummy yet if i moved it round slowly changed angles etc I could get a much stronger HB to my ears :D x
