Yet another sleep thread by me -I'm sorry! We just can't cope anymore.

Dominic is up anywhere from 10 times a night. I lose count. He goes down to sleep fine, settles himself lovely and will sleep for a good 3/4 hours but then it's all down hill from there and he's up every 20-45 minutes.

Could it be his dummy? Should I take it away? Sometimes he wakes up and he has him dummy still in though?

Could I need to change his nappy more? Could it be his teeth?

Could putting him in his own room help?

Help please, even if it's just to tell me your child is an awful sleeper too so I don't feel so alone!

So sorry, hun. Sleep deprivation is the absolute worst.

Taking away the pacifier was the best thing we did. He only wakes one to two times a night now, for a bottle, and goes straight back down. I don't know if it is just a phase or coincidental, but still. His sleep was always terrible. I would cry all day long and be so upset. Now I feel human again.

Does your baby wake and cry? Can he go back to sleep once he's woken?

I'm considering trying it tbh, I was a bit reluctant to as he's a really sucky baby so I think we'll have a hard time of it but anything is worth a try.
He has a bit of a whinge and goes back to sleep within a few minutes most of the time, sometimes we can just leave him and he'll have a shuffle about and a shout and then go back on his own after a while. It's the frequency of it that's so exhausting. I can't fall asleep while I know he's still awake.

Baby Z (also 6 months ) , is up like a zillion times when he sleeps in his crib .I go to work like a Zombie these days .But I have observed he sleeps longer when we co sleep .
