Crikey! I can't even begin to think about Christmas yet! Before then I've got 2 weddings, mil's 50th, bil's birthday, niece's birthday, sil's birthday, several cousins birthdays, about 10 friends' birthdays, my friend's 2 kids birthdays and the birth of a very close friend's baby! That's not to mention the birth of our 1st child in December! Plus we're skint! It's an insane 5 months! We need to find somewhere new to live too so we can probably factor in moving into the bargain!

I know what I'm getting DH for Christmas but need to wait until the release date in November to buy so I get the best price on it. Mostly we'll just be buying little bits and bobs from the charity shops or making things I think! With the baby, I think everybody knows that Christmas this year will be massively scaled down for us this year! Theoretically, I could be in labour Christmas Eve so it's not really happening for us this year! I wish I could start buying things in bits and bobs as I go along but things are way too busy and finances way too tight!

I got some fuzzy felts in aldi - 3 or 4 quid and they look ok. Also B&M have peppa pig toy s a bit cheaper - bought Miss rabbits helicopter for £8

We also get loads of stockingfillers from the pound shops

If you've got the storage space, the best time to do Christmas shopping is boxing day.

2 years ago my Gran and I went out to look for gifts for the next Christmas. We found a Mickey Mouse ride on thing for £10 reduced from £30. A giant remote control fire engine £10 reduced from £40 and a huge castle thing £5 reduced from £20. The bargains were AMAZING!

I do a lot of my Christmas shopping in the sales now

i still have DD2 8th birthday this month and shes having a pizza hut party, got her a bike/3ds/games and camera so shes sorted birthday wise but no idea about xmas lol, after that its DD1's birthday,she will be 12, she wants an i pod touch and no idea for xmas, then its DH/BIL/SIL and 2 nephews birthdays before xmas
however i got a few things in disney sale yesterday for Xander's xmas, babies are easy lol.
