My brothers and I have always had very open relationships with our parents - esp mum... I remember when the oldest of my younger brothers was 15 (I was 17) and he asked mum if she spat or swallowed! Mum said "if I spit or swallow what?" We had to explain... she was a little but answered us anyway!
