Sorry this is going to be a long post but my LO is 9 weeks old and I really am struggling to enjoy being a mum, since 2 weeks old she started to get fussy and pull away from the bottle crying, wanting more but sucking a little and then cry in pain some more, took her docs they said it was colic do got infacol this did nothing went back i suggested silent reflux gp said she's too young but prescribed infant gaviscon this again did nothing went back gp prescribed ranitine this again did not work had dosage upped 3x went back gp prescribed omeprazole 10mg once a day she's been on this 2 weeks and I've seen no improvement, I've now resorted to adding carobel to her feeds this has stopped the choking slightly and she's able to consume a little more milk but she's still pulling and crying away, I had her weighed yesterday and she's gained 1lb in 4 weeks so its slowed right down, I'm so stressed out we had been refered to a pead for an urgent appointment but its been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing!! HV has suggested i ask the gp to prescribe a formula for a possible allergy but I'm so scared that again that won't work and I'm not going to get anywhere until she's weaned and I've just got a long battle ahead of me
