So I'm trying to get out and about more with DD now that she's 4 months. The first 3 months were tough as she wouldn't sleep in her Moses basket until 3am every night and so I used the mornings to catch up on sleep instead. Now, she sleeps much better and I'm beginning to realise that she requires quite a lot of stimulation and so I've started a baby sensory class and today I tried out a music class.
DD loved it. She really responds to seeing other babies and loves the activities. It was me that felt uncomfortable though! It was quite a small group which I wouldn't normally find intimidating but everyone else was part of an nct group who completely ignored me. Not one person said goodbye as they all left to have coffee together and I very much felt an outsider.
I really don't know whether to carry on with it or not. I could do another session earlier in the morning but the session I went to is perfect in terms of nap time and feeds.
Anyone else find classes cliquey?
