Baby day dreams

Hi all,

Is it just me or does anyone esle have baby day dreams all the time??

I go off into these day dreams about what my baby will look like, how i will decorate its room, then i start lookng through the argos book thinking what buggy and room furniture would i have etc?,

Then i start dreaming of my OH playing with our baby. When picks up my nephew and trys to make him laugh being all silly, i go all soft inside! Thinking what he will be like with our own child.

I do the same as you hun and think how i will decorate a nursery. I even look through mothercare and other websites day dreaming lol

lol i often walk through mothercare!

My OH thinks im obbessed! We havent even got our own place yet and im imaging the room!

Although he is often talking about what names we would call our baby! And we cant agree on that!

I have the habit of flicking through the argos catalogue and picking out which buggy/ cot/ outfits etc. I would get if I had a baby.
My OH has said for a while that if we have a girl in the future we should name her Freya - which I think is an adorable name.

I know, I couldn't believe it when he suggested it. It's because it's from norse mythology - the goddess of love. He likes that kind of stuff.

I've not quite gone as far as imagining what the baby's room would look like, just little things.

All the time! I'm always looking on ebay, babies r us etc picking out prams and cots.

I imagine when I go out places what it would be like to be pushing a pram instead of being by myself

Im always in mothercare or on the website! I prefer going in the shop though, I like to be able to look at the nursery set ups and stuff.

I have actual dreams about having a baby too, not just day dreams. In last nights I had a c section

hehehe yeah, I love actual dreams. I had one last week, it was soooo real!

Oh god im awful, I live near toys r us so im always popping and looking at the babies r us section. I love looking on Boots website, Mothercare, Argos, Ebay and any others where I can pick out baby stuff!
Ive only ever had a few baby dreams and they were rather scary and vivid, I have yet to have a "nice" dream about babies.
My day dreams are always nice tho lol. x

I have had some scary baby dreams - like I have a bump but no baby, or I leave my baby behind in a drawer....scary!! My day dreams are a whole lot nicer - imagining telling my oh, getting our first scan....it makes work pass quicker!

In my dreams I never have a bump, its either early pregnancy or after birth in my dreams. I suppose my brain cant imagine what I will look like when preggers I wonder if when im pregnant I will have a bump in my dream then?
