Bit of a pointless thread really lol but I'm so excited (and getting scared)

I'm due on the 12th or next Tuesday and I can't believe I can say "next week"!!

Am really hoping LO comes over the weekend though as my son will have 2 weeks off school for Easter and my Husband can take the whole 2 weeks off with us so we can be a new family all together
Come on baby please don't be late!! :dohh:

How is everyone else feeling about your Lo's arrival?
xxxxx

Oooh ukcath, only 5 days left for you! are you starting to feel nervous at all? Have you had any signs that LO is ready yet?

xxx

i felt a bit sick during the night and over the last week or so i have had a few what felt like painful bh.... that's it though...

how did it start for you with your first lo?

I'm due this Thurs. Feel sick with nerves and excitement! x

My waters broke during the night with my son. I was asleep and woke after feeling a pop and thinking I was weeing myself until I jumped out of bed and got a gush. About half an hour after I got my first contractions. I had no show or anything at all to suggest labour was going to happen that night.

xx

It's so wierd not knowing when or how it's going to happen... I usually like to plan everything!

It is, I like to plan everything too but babies are so unpredictable! I just hope that when it does happen that we have time to take my son to his grans before heading to the hospital.
I don't know about you but I'm paranoid about going out in public lately incase my waters break while I'm out lol!

It did cross my mind in ASDA the other day. I could imagine the tannoy announcer having to say "cleaner required in aisle 5" !

good luck. does it seem like it's taken forever to get here? it does me...

Thank you! Well it's gone quite fast for me mostly as we found out straight away, like days pregnant. However, the last few weeks have seemed to drag a little and i just want him here now! xx

Lol how embarrassing would that be? I would just step away from the mess and pretend it was nothing to do with me lol. Would be pretty obvious it was I suppose but I would hide down the cleaning aisle or something :haha: never many people down there!

good luck girls! i'm so jealous I wish it was my turn already but I have sooooo long to wait (it seems) 85 days to go!!

Wishing you all smooth deliveries!!

The kids holidays are a brilliant time to have our babies aren't they seeing how we already have children? I wonder which one of us will have our babies first?? I bet it's you because mine doesn't seem to want to move at the moment lol. Are your daughters looking forward to having a baby brother? I hope he comes along soon for you :hugs: xxx

I am due a week today so 11th (Monday) I have nothing going on to suggest that labour may be immenent. This is the first time im going to go through this so i have no idea what to expect....

I am not holding my breath that he will make a appearance b4 D day though.. Im sure il end up down the induction route

Another one that is worried that my waters are going to go in public  although it isnt stopping me from being out & about - i wouldnt know what to do though especially if they just gush out

Im not thinking about labour or worrying about it at all yet which is very weird

My son breaks up for his easter holidays on Fri it would be nice for the baby to come this week so that we have the whole 2 weeks together as a family of 4

I am due 2 days after you, on the 14th, and hoping she comes well tonight would be nice lol. My husband has tomorrow off anyway and we have some really bad storms moving through (which I hate I can't ever get any sleep:cry:) So if it happened over night it would be fine wouldn't be sleeping well anyway.
DH informed me last night that I was going to go either last night or tonight so we will see, this is the first time he has predicted something like that lol

I seriously doubt it will, I have gave up on thinking she will come early:haha:

Let's hope your husband is right with his prediction and tonight will be the start of something! :hugs:

I too have given up hoping this LO comes early but then she has been awkward since the word go.

I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight what with the storms, toilet trips and being uncomfy are bad enough let alone the sound of wind and rain etc keeping you up too. xxx

To be fair I had no clues what so ever with my son, my waters just broke in my sleep so you never know! He was 2 days early. I never worried about labour with my first son but this time I seem a bit more on edge about it all, probably because I know what's coming this time lol.

We'll all have to get on the spicy curries and jump on our men to try and get the LO's out this weekend lol anything's worth a try at this point lol (well almost) :haha:

I had a dynamite hot chilli the night my waters broke with DS and I am convinced that is what brought on my labour so that's the plan again this weekend.
