Hi ladies

So I had a gender scan at 16 weeks 4 days and they were definately sure its a girl

I have a 4 year old son and was so sure I was having a boy so I was soooooo surprised and happy - I actually made her check 3
Times in total it was a girl and they were sure she was

Anyway I've told everyone it's a girl and gone pink mad shopping but keep reading about gender scans being wrong before 20 weeks so keep panicking now that at my 20 week scan they'll say boy ha

Here is a pic of my scan - question is does anyone know what I'm looking at? What Angle is this supposed to be ?

I'm sure there right as they even done a 4d scan too and I have it all on video where she identifies it but I'm just looking for someone who knows scan pics well as I have no clue ha x

I hope it's right! I had mine at 16 weeks and they said girl. I knew it was a girl as soon as she zoomed in between legs (just hope she doesn't grow a willy before 20 weeks!!!)

It's called a potty shot. So like ur looking up at her bum from inside a toilet. The bit it's pointing at is between her legs and I'm guessing her foot is at the top? Will see if I can find mine with my son. Round here they don't do them till gone 16 weeks tho xx

My sons. Remember ur looking up at him bum. Triangle bit r his boy bits, then thighs the his ankles and feet crossed xx

Was u 14+4 or 16+4??

I was 14 plus 4 days

In your potty shot pic I can defo see boy parts so guessing the lack of them in mine is a good thing :haha:

That early I don't know how they can tell XD but I'm not an ultrasound tech XD I was hoping they would have told me at my 14 week appointment but they don't tell gender until the anatomy scan when a woman is at least 18 weeks because they don't want to be wrong. Even mine I just sort of have to believe my doctor XD the ultrasound tech pointed out the three lines which I found out means girl. You can't really see that on you ultrasound :( I would wait to buy more pink until your anatomy scan

Girls I'm being blonde I was 16 weeks plus 4 days ha x

My doctor's office said they can definitely tell the gender at 14 weeks by ultrasound pending the baby cooperates. I was told she's a girl at my 15+6 weeks when I went in for an ultrasound after spotting.

Yes compared to my obvious boys bits the lack of them would definitely say girl lol

Just blame pregnancy brain lol it says on ur scan 16+4 that's y I asked lol x

Ha ha your obviously wayyyy more with it than me Lol

I'm sure it is a girl like they said I guess I'm still in shock ha xx

Between me and my oh we have 4 boys so if they tell me this one is a girl I won't believe it either :haha: x

Oh wow what a lovely surprise it will be if you are team pink :) x

Well, it's a good job I'm not a sonographer because I can see a face! :haha:

Glad you've got people on here who know because I can't make head nor tail of it!

But YAY! for a healthy baby, bits or no bits!

With both mine I had private gender scans at 14 weeks and they accurately knew they were girls. I would say that are right, congratulations!

Ha I had no idea it was a potty shot either

I'm hoping its right then from what everyone's said :) x
