My baby decided to poo while I was in the middle of changing her diaper and got it everywhere. She already needed a bath so I decided to give one to her right then!

I thought the room was warm enough and the whole process only took a couple minutes because I wanted to be fast (she's not too crazy about baths), but once I got her in the towel to dry off, her little bottom lip was quivering because she got too cold. :( Her little hands and feet were cold too.

I put a diaper on her and let her lay on me skin to skin for an hour and she ended up falling asleep, and now her temperature is just fine but I'm paranoid now that I made her ill or something. She seemed so pathetic and upset about being cold!!

I feel so terrible.

Don't worry mine does this too try putting a towel on his changing mat as well as the one you will use to dry your lo also put it on the radiator to warm up. She's probably only exposed for a little bit x

Logan's lip quivers many times a day the midwife said its normally if he's weeing. He did it today in the doctors as I think he was cold at the time. His hands get cold all the time - over night and his feet are only cold if he has no socks on.
Cold hands and feet aren't a problem. Logan's hands are ice cold some mornings. I was told its fine.
You won't of harmed her don't worry. As long as her back/chest isn't cold she'll be fine. And the lip think is just a reflex in a lot of babies. Logan's doesn't normally mean he's cold!

Cold hands and feet aren't a problem. You can tell baby's temperature by feeling her chest. If that's cold, then baby is cold :) Babies extremities are often cold so that's really nothing to worry about.

Her lip quivering could have been that she was just a bit chilly, but again, my LO does that sometimes and she hasn't had any problems.

Don't worry yourself :)

In the days before central heating, i'm sure this happened often, and yet the human race survived! I'm sure she'll be fine!

I know after I've gotten out of a nice warm bath into a lovely warm room I definitely feel cold, I think it's just down to the difference in temperature from direct warm water to warm air. Evie always shivers a little after a bath, so I'm sure your LO will be fine :)
