Baby names....please help!

Hello everyone...
Really need your help!
We are having our 1st baby in 2 weeks time (hopefully!) and we still dont really have any names sorted. We dont know if its a boy or girl, so we need names for both sex.
If it is a boy his middle name will be manolito, same as his daddy, and the surname is Martin.
For girls we havnt decided on anything at all!
Here are a few names that were a maybe, but cant really agree..
Boys:
Kian- Both like
Mason-I Like
Lucas/Luca- He likes
Jacob- He likes
Declan-Both like
For boys we were thinking of a more "normal" name due to the unusual middle name, but i still dont want his 1st name to be too popular....

Girls:
Isla-He likes
Ayla-I like
Amelia- He likes
Amira- He likes
Amaya- I like
Inez- Both like (would only have as middle name)
Calla- Both like (would only have as middle name)

And thats about it, and i cant say that even one of them is jumping out at me.

Can anyone help?!
Any ideas/offers welcome and will be much appreciated

Sometimes you will have no idea until LO is even born. My mam had picked out Ellen or Robyn for me and when I was born she took one look at me and said I didn't look like either! I ended up with an unusual Welsh Name and I love the individuality my name gives me. From your list I love love love Mason for a Boy but not quite sure if the three M's will work ... Sorry just trying to be honest I really don't want to hurt your feelings. I think Luca would suit your other names beautifully though. For a girl I love both Inez and Calla - even as first names! Sorry if I've not been any help at all just wanted to reassure you that not everything has to be picked out before Bubba is even here. Big hug to you X

Yeah this is what i keep saying to people, and this is why i didnt want a deffinate name chosen, just incase it doesnt suit babies little face.
My cousin had isabelle for her daughter for the whole pregnancy and then when she was born she said she just doesnt look like a isabelle, all sweet and dainty and pretty....her words were " her face is so mashed up" and isabelle just didnt suit so they ended up calling her georgie.
I would just like to go in with a few names in my mind, and not have a completly blank head!
Also my mum is driving me MAD on baby names...."youve had 9 months to choose a few"....blah blah blah!! I had a go at her yesturday, coz she is just doing my head in!

You poor thing - parents eh? They had their chance when they had us lol. Choosing a childs name is something that takes a lot of thought and consideration and you're right to be cautious as it's something they will have for life. Out of your list I love Calla for a girl, that's the prettiest name I've heard on here so far For a boy I love Luca. Good luck for everything hun X I have my fingers crossed for you XX

Hi,
I think Kian and Lucas would go well together - you could combine for Lucas Kian or Kian Lucas (Luke?)
Lucas Mason also flows well.

Some other boy name ideas:

For girls I think Calla is really pretty as you want it for a middle name - maybe
Aubree (Aubrey) Calla
Esme Calla

Inez is lovely as well - maybe:
Ruby Inez
Emily Inez

I love Kian & Declan! They are both such great names & i don't know (personally) any boys with those names!

You have alot of pretty girl names to work with! Love Amaya & Amelia -- both gorgeous!

Have you considered Amari, Arianna, & Ariah (like Mariah without the "m") -- Love both of these "A" names too!

I spent 9 months (even longer -- years!) searching for the perfect name! And then changed it the day my son was born! The name i gave him was on my list though... so i think having a few names is a great idea! And i assure you -- you'll know once you see the baby!!!!!!!! Good luck! The girls name calla means "beautiful" in greek....so im really liking the idea of using it.
I must admit out of the boys names Kian and Declan are kind of at the top, but im just not sure they go...Declan Manolito Martin.....Kian Manolito Martin.
Oooohh its so so hard,i want to make the right choice for our child, as i dont want it to hate us for choosing a horrible name! I would just like something unusual,or something that is more uncommon!
