Ok, i just wanted to know what others do?

At about what time do you make sure your baby is at home? Before 6am or you dont mind really?
Do you take your baby out night time i mean late evening or they should be home.

I hope everyone understands as i myself i dunno in what word to describe it. But hope its simple for everyone?

I myself i tend to make my baby be at home by 6pm unless i have no choice. Which is very rare!

So whats others opinion on that?????

We always try to be home and have all visitors gone by 6 p.m. so we can wind down for the night. We have a routine though and she usually eats between 5-6 and than we eat dinner. Around 8 we give her a bath and between 8:30-9 she's ready for another bottle. After that we put her to bed. In between we both take our baths and get bottles etc. ready for the day, so there really isn't much free time.

We normally make sure we're home by that time, as vickie said, ready for wind-down and eve rountine, but we're not that strict with it and she doesn't mind if we're visiting later, she always goes to sleep in the car on the way home anyway and seems very happy with that. if she wasn't then we wouldn't do it :)

Dec is always in bed by 7.30-7.45 so we have to be at home from 5pm onwards for dinner, and bed routine.

most days i'm in before mattys gets home and the kids are in bed on time, on the odd ocasion or if we go see his parents, we will go out after tea

We are not strict on when we have to be in for as this does not disrupt caitlyns routine. She sleeps lightly until about 10pm when she has a last bottle of the night. As long as we are back by then she is fine. Though almost all the time we are in by 6 ready to start her bedtime routine

Never really thought about it. Sean tends to just blend in with what we are doing, sounds bad, but its easy for us and he doesn't seem to mind at all. If we are visiting friends at night, we just take his moses basket and he will go to sleep in that.

I hadn't given this any thought at all. We haven't tried to get a routine yet...I simply thought it was too early.

Out of interest, if I just start my bedtime routine later, will this just translate to a later start the following day? I ask cos we seem to do most visiting/ have most visits evenings.

I dunno to be honest but i think the baby gets their own routine gradually when they grow up.

Home by about 6.00pm (sometimes later if we are travelling) in time for bath, dinner and bed about 7.30pm or 8.00pm ish.

Lizziepots, bedtime earlier is recommended - they tend to sleep longer.

Most of the time we're home in the evenings, but we have fire training on Tues nights until 9pm so she is at the sitter's house. I am starting classes on Mon/Wed nights (starting tonight) and those go until 10pm. She'll be home with DH's parents, but we're going to give her her bath when I get home. We've taken her out for drives at 10 or 11 pm before. We love to drive around at all hours. I've taken her to the FD when we've had an early morning call before. We were there from 2-6am last week, but we have a pack and play at the FD cause there are 7 'fire babies'. We also brought her to the casino last week to walk around cause she was WICKED fussy and only wanted to be in her stroller and moving, moving, moving! It's one of the only places open 24/7 so we went and walked around the non-gaming areas. It helped put her to sleep finally, even though we felt awful for bringing her there!

7:30pm is Mikey's bed time, so I always make sure I'm home before 7 to bath and change him, unless family event (party/birthday). But now I have Kalea to think about, I think I'd like to be home before 6pm.

If I go to my friends/families, we tend to stay quite late. Madam is quite happy to sleep on me and in the carseat untill I can pop her in bed when I get home.
