Baby shower tomorrow, but...

I'm really sad over it. I know that all the flowers, all the balloons, the cake, the gifts, etc(can you tell they're making this a little bit of a "to-do"?)...its all for me and my baby girl. I know it isn't supposed to be about the guy either, but this isn't just supposed to be MY baby. I don't have anyone to go to after and show all the stuff and know that everyone did all of this for our baby.

This isn't even about Adam. Adam is the furthest thing from my mind, I'm glad he isn't here. When I think of her having a dad, he doesn't even cross my mind anymore. But I am upset that she just doesn't have a dad in general. Its really, really, really getting to me with the shower and the closer it gets to my due date.

I am sorry, i hope that you do enjoy the shower and get really spoiled. One day I hope you meet a wonderful man who will take care of you and your LO and be a great dad. In the mean time know that you are doing the best you can for her. Well done!

Aww hun, it's natural to have feelings like this, I know I worry about the same stuff. But one day you will meet somebody new, who will love you and bubs so much. And bubs herself will know how much you loved and wanted her, and how determined you were to be a great Mommy.

My shower went well. I've never seen so much PINK in my entire life!!! I won't need to buy anything for the first six months

I wasn't as upset after as I thought I was going to be, I made my friend suffer through me showing him all the stuff. He pretended he was interested, it was enough for me
