baby shower

I am having a baby shower sunday and all but 2 of my so called friends have called and told my sister they can't make it. I am kind of embarassed that I will look like a total loser if no one but family shows up

Oh hun, that sucks. Friends can really suck sometimes. I'd attend, but it might be kind of difficult just know that your family wouldn't think you're a loser- I think a lot of women lose friends once they become pregnant. It just happens sometimes now that priorities change and you aren't out partying anymore, iykwim?

aww dnt be embarrased; even if just family shows up at least u have their support. i`d say have a qood time. and make those friends tht didnt come feel bad for not beinq there

Aww poor hun....forget the ones that aren't coming, its there loss! I too would come, but it'd be like a 6-7 hour drive....lol! No worries though, the ones that really care are the ones your really need!

Aww don't worry hunny None of my friends are showing up for my baby shower either, just family. I'm kind of dreading it, but I know once I'm there and everyone is excited about my baby with me I know I'll feel alright =]

my "baby shower" was more like a get together session for my mum.
she only invited her friends. which was nice, i still got a few things for bubs.
she didn't invite any of my friends, not that i have any anyway.
good luck.
and i agree that if they cant be bothered to show up, they dont deserve to be there.
