Baby sleeping at night, when to expect period?

How soon did your period come back after your baby started sleeping 5 or 6 hours a night?

My first baby woke to nurse 2 - 4 times a night for ages and I got my period back right after his 1st birthday. However, this baby is sleeping much better at night (for now! ) I'd love to hear other ladies' experiences!

I got my period back with my 1st two right away evwn though they fed all the time unfortunately, felt a bit ripped off lol
I guess its just the waiting game.

Slightly worried after reading this. My son has slept from 11-8 since 10 weeks (and I stopped doing middle of the night pump then too) but still no period even though he's 6 months. Ddidnt realise there was a link?

I wouldn't worry. It's just different for everyone. I had to wean days and nights before my period started back with my first two but some ladies to have it return when their kids start sleeping at night

My second DS was only waking once a night at that age too and I still have not got my period back - mind you he's now waking about every two hours! I got my period back with my first when he was 13.5 months and I expect it'll be similar this time.

My daughter is almost ten months and hasn't breastfed during the night for 2-3 months and I still don't have my period...yet. She breast feeds 4-5 times in the daytime. I'm hoping I get at least a year of no period!

My daughter slept around 8-9 hours a night for a brief spell early on. She soon started waking up again though. The time when she did sleep well didn't seem to affect anything and I didn't get my period back until 16 months.

Mine came back around 12 months both times.This did coincide with trying to wean them off night feeds.
