baby starting to sleep longer stretches at night help

my lo has started to sleep longer the first stretch. well lets hope it sticks. it is like this.

last BF 6.30pm
8.30pm bottle (started giving him bottle since 6 months in case if i go somewhere OH can put him to sleep)
i have been waking him around 1am the past days since my breast hurt too much.

do the breast get used to this? is there anything i can do without waking him? should i maybe pump before i go to bed? or wait it out if my breast adjust?

If it's really painful, maybe just hand express a little, otherwise it's better to wait it out. My son still wakes up loads, but when he dropped one of the afternoon feeds, I got engorged and leaked for a day or two before my breast adjusted.

Your body adjusts really fast. Recently my LO dropped one of her feeds in the middle of the night, so I woke up totally engorged that day. Had to pump an ounce or two out because it was painful, and the next day not so bad!
