baby sticking out tongue in US?

I went to my 12 week ultrasound today, and it looked like baby was sticking out their tongue?
I don't know if they are for sure, since I didn't look at the photos till I was almost out of the hospital and didn't get a chance to ask her.
Can baby stick out their tongue this early?
And I am slightly worried because I read somewhere that sticking out tongue early is a sign of down syndrome?
Sounds silly, but just wondering.
I can't post pics right now cause I'm on my phone but I will as soon as I go to my dads.
Any advice would be appreciated x

I'm so jealous you've had your scan, I cant wait for mine! I have it a week tomorrow. Was it amazing?
I dont know anything about LO's having their tongues stuck out so I cant help. Did they do the NT test?

It was like the best day of my life! LO was waving their arms and legs, doing somersaults etc.
You are going to be in amazement !

Kinda nervous, hope everythings perfect and healthy.

I'm not completely sure. Because I'll be 10-11 weeks, and you have to be 11 - 14 to get it. But I am entitled to it, and it'll be another excuse to see LO again so I'm gunna ask for it do they give you the results there and then?

i remember my 11 week scan baby moved abit and it is just amazing it is funnier to see it at 15 weeks lol it moves around

LOTS of babies stick their tongues out in scans.. I'm jealous my LO never did anything funny in scans lol, my friend's LO was at her 12 week scan
