Has anyone felt this?! It's like she's having a seizure, she'll shake/vibrate for a few seconds then stop. It's SO wierd!!!
My friend google told me it might be my uterus spasming from exhaustion if it's been doing a lot of braxton hicks. But I don't think I've felt any braxton hicks yet, so not sure. Sometimes the vibration is only on one side, which makes me think it's bab shaking.
Has anyone felt this? Or know what it is?!!!!

I know exactly what you mean!!
I get this every couple of days, its wierd!
No idea what causes it though!
xx

it might be bubs stretching her muscles. You know like if you do a really big stretch sometimes your muscles kind of quiver?

My theory is they get their foot or hand stuck and shake it really fast to free it :haha: Even midwives don't know why this happens, but it's totally normal xxx

i get this sometimes. i thought she was having a seizure too. soo weird haha

Charlie did the exact same thing :haha: strange how nobody seems to know exactly what it is x

I had this a few times when pregnant with kacey. Was normal for us

this is mad how many people have felt it, but nobody knows what it is!! i've got midwife tomorrow so i'm gonna ask then and let you know what she says! x

:haha: That's so funny! I've sooo been wondering this too, I was afraid she was actually having seizures xP

I have! It's like she's having a little seizure! So weird!

i asked my midwife and she laughed and said she had no idea.
how helpful.

i have read that because your uterus is a muscle, if it over exerts itself it can spasm just like if you pull a muscle in your leg or something.
so if you've been having braxton hicks and your uterus gets too tired it can shake..
i don't know if this is true though!!

that post above was from me!! opps!!! i didn't realise my mum had got an account and was logged in!!!!!!!!!!!
oooooooooooooooooooopppps :) x

Awwww my mum can't turn a computer on and she's only 38 :haha:

i taught her the ways of the internet. now she could never live without it! she even has facebook!

haha yeah i totally know what you mean!! i always wonder what she could possibly be doing in there, because even i (as a full size human) can hardly flail my arms and legs around as fast as it seems like she is when that weird seizure/vibrating thing happens! it scared me a lot at first because it seemed like "frantic" movement, but now it's happened so many times that it just seems normal I guess
