Baby weight at 34 weeks

Had to have another scan today to check cervix length and baby was estimated at 5.2 pounds. My OB says its average but it sounds a bit on the bigger dude to me. I'm almost 34 weeks. At 32 weeks baby was 4.4 pounds. So whAt are your babies measuring?

I am 34 weeks too and my what to expect app on my phone says baby should be about 5.5 lbs now. So sounds like s/he is doing just fine! I have my growth scan this Friday so I will see how much my lil guy weighs then.

Mine was measuring 7lb at 34 weeks & on the large side so id agree & say it sounds retty average dd1 was 5lb 3 at 32 week growth scan & was born 8lb 8

At 34 +6 my little girl weighed 5 lb 13. So I'd say that's a good weight.

I've got another growth scan tomorrow (Tuesday). 2 weeks ago they estimated 4.13 and that was at 32 weeks and ill be 33+6 tomorrow and according to growth chart online at 34 weeks baby should be averaging 4.73 but after reading done of the replies on here it would seem ur messuring about average. I got to have a glucose test on Thursday cos of him being on the big side

At 32 weeks last week my "little" guy was estimated 5lbs 12oz which was above the 95th percentile. So your little one sounds right on track! Also, how was your cervix? Still on the bedrest? I go tomorrow to get checked. I think I can start doing outings (short) if all looks ok

Wow! He's going to be so cute and chubby!! My cervix looked fine but dr still wants me to " rest" and not overdo it as now they will no longer stop labor after 34 weeks so I can do small stuff but no crazy outings until 37 weeks I'm enjoying resting though I'm very uncomfortable lol

Same here! 34 weeks is that magic number so we both made it now I'm convinced after 8 weeks of worrying and resting that he will be sooooo late!

At 33+6 my sons estimated weight was 4lbs 11oz. He was born at 41 weeks weighing 8lbs 11oz.
