Hey ladies,
I am 38 weeks, and I have noticed a change in my little girls movements. I am able to see and feel her moving, but I dont get kicks like I used to. Is that normal? I know she is breech, with her feet and hands up in front of her face, so maybe that is contributing to it?
Thanks ladies! :flower:

She's getting less and less room to move around, so it's totally normal for movements to change. So long as they haven't STOPPED and you can still feel baby squirming around in there, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

If you think your babies movements have reduced you need to get looked at.

The above advice is incredible dangerous, if you wait until a baby has stopped moving it could be too late

Yes it's normal. As long as she's still moving around! My ob has me do kick counts every day from 28 weeks onwards. Some days baby doesn't move as much but I always do the counts & they've always passed. As baby gets bigger & more cramped their less erratic and instead their movements will be more controlled.

I wasn't saying to wait until they'd stopped to be concerned. I was just saying that the KINDS of movements you feel change as baby gets less room to move. So instead of punch/jab, feeling more rolls and things is normal as baby gets bigger and takes up more space. Of COURSE if there's reduced movement you should talk to your care provider and get checked out. I wasn't talking about the number of movements, just the kinds of movements you feel.
