Baby's not eating as much

She just turned 4 weeks yesterday and shes dropped an ounce I'm worried

keep an eye on her, its possibly just a phase...marcus would go up to say a 4 oz bottle then would be back to 2 oz for a week or two. we have been on 7 oz bottles for weeks now but recently we are down to 5/6. he is still gaining weight fine tho x

What exactly do I need to be on the lookout for? Besides wet nappys? I'm clueless :/ she was eating 3 oz and now is on two oz. I have a feeling it was because I changed her formula to Enfamil a.r. Because it was cheaper and omg worse mistake ever. Messed up her tummy SO bad. Needless to say we are right back on the similac. Do you think it's because her tummy still hurts? Thanks agian

she is still really tiny so cant take much-just keep an eye for wet and dirty nappies. obviously if she was refusing feeds and had a temp or seemed ill then see the doc but it sounds just normal at the minute. stick with one formula for her if it suits her as any changes to milk take a week or so to settle.

all our health visitors and docs always tell us to ignore the box to some extent and let them take as they want. im sure marcus was taking the same at that time-even today he has only had 3 bottles so far, normally had 4 by now! in the early weeks i took him to be weighed every week or two even though they say once a month just to check he was doing ok!

Thanks so much for the reassurance ! I changed her teat size and she seams to be happier but still dropping an oz every few feeds I guess it's just a phase like you said
