I finally got pregnant and we were in shock. I had really given up all hope after years of nothing at all. I have a 6 year old little girl. But my boyfriend has no children and we've been wanting one for years. It's been emotional and very stressful. I got pregnant in November of 2014 but we ended up losing the baby in December 2014. I was and still am a wreck. But I'm starting to wonder if it will ever happen AGain! We haven't been full on trying and using opk temp softcups or anything like that just yet. They said to wait 3 months but it's been almost 6 and nothing at all still.

I thought I ended up pregnant bc I got very healthy and lost almost 30 lbs. So I was hopeful it'd be easier to fall preg. Again this time. I exercise 6 days a week and eat healthy 90 percent of the time.

Should we start using opks? I used those when i was heavy and over weight but never fell preg. Then. So I don't know. I also read about maca powder and royal jelly. Has anyone had good experiences with these things! ? Any type of help would be great even just a friend I need someone to talk to. This is all killing me. Thank you for reading.

There are lots of herbal things you can try, but there is also the wide world of medicine and testing, have you already been down that route?

Anyway there's preseed, a lubricant to help get the sperm where they need to go, lots of people take baby aspirin, vitamin B6 etc to help things stick.
Vitex seems to be a well known natural fertility supplement, I take it in a mix called Estrosmart plus.

I've had 1 miscarriage and 3 chemical pregnancies to date so ... I've been stalking these forums for a while!! Currently just got another BFP, fingers crossed this one sticks. It completely sucks to get that positive and not even be able to enjoy it because you don't really have the same hope like you used to .... :nope:

Congratulations on losing and coming back to healthy range. Royal jelly is well known fertility food; it assists female reproductive health by balancing hormones and helping regulate menstruation. However, supplements would be really helpful only if they are targeted for specific problem. I would prefer getting checked yourself by a GP and diagnose what’s wrong with you or your partner’s system.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I use OPKs just to feel confident that I'm ovulating and not missing the best window to have sex. It reduces my stress.

What does your OB think about your situation? I've taken all the supplements and haven't fallen pregnant in the 3 cycles since d&c. I didn't take anything but the prenatal when I got pregnant. I would say get some testing or a consult so you're not beating your head against the wall wondering when there could be something specific to address. I found out I had a clotting disorder after the fact. I didn't want to hear it, but it's good that I know to manage it.

Good luck. Wishing you the best.

Do you do temping? It won't tell you if you are close to ovulating, but it is the only way to confirm that you did and when (well, that and getting pregnant of course) also, is your bf taking any supplements?
