Back ttc baby no:2, nervous and excited!

We are going to ntnp. I don't want to know when I'm ovulating or how many dpo I am. I'm just going to go with the flow. If dh wants to have sex we can have sex. If not it's ok. I'm ok with whatever outcome for this cycle.

Litebright - NTNP seems like a good plan. Then you don't have to stress and if it is meant to be it will!

Twag - I am so sorry! Can your doctor prescribe anything? I have had some friends get zofran (I think that is it) and they said it really helps.


Has anyone heard/done the new Counsyl blood test? My OB was pushing it, but I am not sure about it.

Dill from my understanding it is a genetic disorder test. And with the 100s of different disorders you will most likely get at least one positive. Which does NOT mean your baby would end up with the disorder. But if your anything like me you will be WORRIED about it the whole rest of your pregnancy. Because I'm a worrier like that I decline all unnecessary testing. My girlfriend who was what they consider 'advanced maternal age' got all the extra testing and they told her it was a possibility that her baby would have downs syndrome she went to a specialist once baby was older and was able to rule that out but the poor girl worried and worried for no reason.

Mimzy - that is what I am afraid of, the extra worry. My DH really wants to do it, but I don't think it is necessary...

My midwife has told me to go to the Dr and get some medication so I am going to book an appointment for that but it will not be until next week as it is Easter Bank Holidays over here

We do not have that testing over here in the UK but my midwife did tell me about the Harmony test which can now be done but it costs £300-500 as it gets sent back to the USA!!

Lite- yes I stopped using OPK's until my period returns. I just finished breastfeeding so we are trying but not using any extra help till my period finally comes back haha, who would have thought I would want it to return!!

So I have some exciting News!!! Sorry to the ladies that are in the other group who has seen this too, I'm just so excited!! I kept waiting for my period to show and my husband kept telling me I was pregnant because the way I smelled things and every time I'd eat I would get a little nauseous...so I found out I'm pregnant!! Haha and since I've had a histor of ectopic pregnancy I had an ultrasound done right away and I'm over 7 weeks pregnant!!! I'm due Nov. 19th!! I had no idea!!!

Thank you ladies!! Yes, I had no idea! It is actually super nice because my husband and I had a really hard time conceiving our first. We found out my husband had sperm morphology and motility issues, then we do a couple IUI'S and I got pregnant the second one but had an ectopic and lost my left tube! So we are super happy we conceived this little bean SUPER FAST! Now, I can't wait till November hehe
