Bad cough and smear test in two days! Cancel?

I've just developed a horrible cough and my smear test is on Tuesday.

I'm terrified that halfway through I'll cough and the speculum will fly out and break a lightbulb, or that I'll wee or fart!!

Would you go ahead with the test or would you put it off till the cough goes?

I'd just get it over with to be honest! I'd just let the nurse know when you get there but I'm sure it will be fine hun xx
