Baking Soda Gender Test...??? *UPDATE PG5*

I just did the baking soda test and I had no fizz... so girl maybe...

I just checked three different Chinese gender charts and they all say girl. I turned 30 in Feb and I was (according to my dating scan) 2w4d on March 7th, so concieved in March but I always wonder if they actually mean conception date or when the cycle started...

I was calling this baby a girl right from the day I found out without thinking about it too though

Will be interesting to see. Not sure if we are going to find out the sex before baby is born

I've been doing the same... saying girl without thinking... then I feel bad for saying it JUST in case it's a boy! lol. You must have some good restraint to wait to find out... there is just NO way I could wait! haha. I want to know now!!! lol

I believe they mean from conception (the day egg and sperm meet)- so the month that happens... then the mothers age (chinese lunar year)- which was 2yrs older for me! haha. But every chart seems to be a bit different... but so far most say girl.

I did mine a few weeks ago and got lots of fizz and was told at 12 week scan she thinks I am carrying twin boys... Okay I know it's not 100% as it's early but I will be impressed if it's right.

Wow- congrats!!! We have our 12wk scan tomorrow and were told there is a slim chance they may be able to tell the gender... I hope so! But not holding my breathe either way till I'm farther along hehe.

So wonder what happens if there was one boy and one girl in there? LOL- does the baking soda go berserk!!!???

I just tried and nothing happened. If it was fizzy it would be an obvious fizz, right?! Mine just sat there and then I saw a few bubbles surface slowly. Girl?

Mine was the same... no fizz... even after swooshing it around! lol. Just a slight white film on top!!!! No Fizz= Girl!!! hehe....

I swooshed it, too! I even did the test a second time just to make sure that my pee to baking soda ratio was correct! Lol! Nothing happened either time.

It would be awesome if it turns out to be right! I still have quite a ways to go before I can find out but it's still so exciting. My husband said "Ever since you've found out you were pregnant you've been peeing on all kinds of different sticks and now baking soda. Don't start peeing on me because I won't be able to tell you if you're having a boy or girl!" Lol. Men just don't get it.

I just did this and it fizzed right on up! It looked like a head on a beer lol. So that says boy for us. I have just had a gut feeling this one is a boy .. we find out on the 30th..

I did this when I got home today and as soon as I poured a little pee onto the baking soda it went fizzing like crazy!!! I think I'm a little early to be trying this test (8weeks) but I just wanted to try for fun. Guess if it's true I'm having a little boy!
