Baking soda says what?!

Have any of you ladies done the pee and baking soda to tell baby's gender? I did it today and it didn't fizz! Its results were girl! Lol, it's so fun! do you have to be a certain amount of weeks? I'm 7 weeks and 2 days

I'm sure there isn't any reason for this test to work but I did it around the 8 week mark and got a boy result, did it again at 11 weeks and still got a boy result.
And we are most definitely having a boy. So it was right for me.

So, how does this test work?

You pee in one cup, put 2tbs of baking soda in another cup. Pour some of your urine into the baking soda cup then, if it fizzes it's a boy and if it stands still with no fizz, it's a girl!

I did it at different times throughout this pregnancy and it fizzed every time, he's all BOY! I didn't know about it with dd it would have been a good experiment. Xx

Oooohh I'm going to give this a try.
A woman at work used a needle swinging on a thread and said this one is a boy, find out in 4 weeks.
Right, I'm off to do the baking soda test...................

I did it this morning and it fizzed. We'll see how accurate it is.

I did it around 11weeks and it fizzed a lot which would mean Boy but I'm having a girl.

I tried it yesterday. It said girl.

It also could be because my body is running alkaline from all the fruits, veggies, and water... I dunno...

We shall see!

I've done it twice, once at 13 weeks, once at 16 weeks.. both stayed still! Soo ??
I find out in 8 days so will update

Mine fizzed for a and I am having a !!! Most of the OWT that I did said boy but it's definitely a girl!
