Im currently 11+5 cant get hold of any midwife... basically ive got my scan booked next thursday but my booking appointment the following week, this is really late?? I had it at 8 weeks last time now im worried, I paod for a scan at 10 weeks due to being so anxious, best £70 ive spent.. just wondered if anyone else had it this way round?? Xx

I didn't have my booking in until after my scan with my first baby I'm only near Dartford so not too far from you. But with my little boy I had one at 8 weeks too! Also I was born in Basildon!! And lived in Wickford til I was 3 haha xx

I will be under St. Peter's birthing unit in maldon. I got in touch as soon as I found out and my apts came through quite quickly. Booking apt tomorrow and scan 23rd nov. I have 2 friends under Southend and they have been slow with apts. I think I'm lucky as I'm under a quieter unit but can imagine both Basildon and Southend being extra busy.
