I've been given an inflatable bath off a friend for when Peanut arrives and wondering if it's good enough for using all the time?
When Peanut arrives does it have to be in the bath or can I use the Top 'n' Tail with water in and just use a flannel/cotton wool in the bedroom whilst Peanut is on the bed wrapped in a towel for the first few months?
Also when Peanut is big enough to us the main bath.. what do I use for support?
I've been looking at Mothercare and their 'Aqua Pod for £29.99 https://www.mothercare.com/Motherca...=sr_1_3&nodeId=42855041&sr=1-3&qid=1316963400.
Also another stupid question probably!! How much do you fill the bath up with water?

Hey... not sure what inflatable bath you have (didn't even know they existed...) TBH it sounds like a bit of a faff. We did have a little bath we used to begin with (first 2/3 weeks) but quickly graduated to the proper bath with this...

She loved it. This lasted us until 5.5 months when she got really good at sitting up and wanted to get out of it. The aqua pod will be for 6 months+... This is what we've moved to now...

Hey :flower:

The inflatable bath is a good idea but tbh I'd have got fed up with it after a couple of uses!

I found my back killed holding LO in the bath so I use a bath support now which helps.

As for filling the bath I was told not to fill more than an inch or so but after her first couple of baths where she screamed after getting cold I fill it quite deep and warm and she loves it! I used a baby bath until 10 weeks (got it from a charity shop )

Different babies like different things so it's all trial and error. Give the inflatable bath a go and if you get on with it perfect, if not there are plenty more options!

Good luck!

I'm a cheapskate :haha: and we're short on space so I didn't buy anything. We bathed LO in our washing up bowl for the first few weeks and once she outgrew that we started bathing her in our normal bath, supporting her head with one hand and washing her with the other. I don't put much water in the bath, only an inch or two and now she's a little bit older she loves all the space to kick around and splash
