BBT drop, then spike?

So I'm about 4 days away from AF. HPT's are negative. My BBT has been a steady 97.8 but yesterday morning dropped to 96.5, then this morning spiked to 98.1. I'm confused, I thought this drop and spike happened at ovulation??

Some girls get a drop and spike a second time when the egg implants. Hopefully that's the case for you

I just got my bfp 4 days ago. I didn't get much of a dip really but noticed a huge spike and then the day later a dip. So 2 days after the spike I tested positive. Good luck!
