So I usually take my temp at 6am every morning, but this morning I woke up at around 4.45am. I didn't get out of bed or anything, I just rolled over, stuck the thermometer in my mouth and waited for the beep (still very much half asleep).
My temp was 36.6 degs (97.88 F)
I was fast asleep within a minute I reckon, and woke up at my usual time at 6am and took my temp again just so see what it was. It was 36.8 degs (98.24 F) so a big difference.
Which one was more accurate? I know the earlier you take it the lower it will be and vise versa...so should I average it out and make it 36.7 degs (98.06 F), take the earlier temp, or take the temp at my usual 6am time (as I really wasn't awake prior to that)?
Any help would be great!
