Okay, this has been worrying me for a while.

I've always thought that I don't ovulate without help so hoped for Clomid. But at a fs appointment they said that I was showing signs that I do ovulate.
I'm taking clomid now, on 100mg at the moment. My worry is, if I ovulated on my own then what will clomid do to help?

I've had pma all day but this is always at the back of my mind and it makes me feel sick with worry

I ovulate and am taking clomid. What Clomid will do is help ovulate more follicles, so your chances will increase in getting a BFP. Even though I ovulate I take Clomid because DH has low sperm motility and count. That way his little swimmers have more options.

Last time I took Clomid I ovulated 4 follicles when on your own you might ovulate 1 or 2. But if you have any questions I definitley suggest calling your doc and asking more about it. I know I always look like a freak cause I take a huge list of questions any time I go to my FS.

Best of luck!!!!

Hi hon, dont have an answer, but I hope clomid gives you an extra fertility boost!

Hi - I Ov on my own but was prescribed clomid too - it just makes you Ov more eggs therefore giving the sperm more targets to hit. Dont worry about it.

Are you being monitored (scans or blood tests)?

Hey :hugs:

Yeah, I have scans from day 11 up until I ovulate. Last cycle I didn't produce big enough follies  Not sure why. I've been told to up the dose this month

thats good that you are being monitored - at least they can see if you are hyperstimulating or not (which doesnt sound like you are).

The higher dose should def help you get a few more big follies.

Good luck with this cycle.
