Before placenta takes over how can things be harmful in first tri?

From what I understand, there is no proof of that one causing malformations, but there is a blurb about that medication type potentially causing issues in the 3rd trimester. I chose to stop my medications and see if I could get by without them as I am already high risk. I'm getting counselling support instead, is that an option for you?
