Being induced at 39 weeks.. Could it be earlier depending on what if so? Xx

I don't think they induce earlier for GD, but I could be wrong. Maybe if the baby is really big. My doctor was going to induce me exactly on my due date if baby didn't come on his own.

Iv been told 39 weeks by my consultant but I'm wondering about everyone else

All depends on how your sugars are doing, I was induced at 39 weeks and then 38 weeks last time

Its probably different everywhere but I was told the earliest they will induce me for GD reasons is 39 weeks.

I was induced at 37+4

Sugers were uncontrollable and it reacted with my BP that went sky high

I was on insulin x

I was admitted to hospital with high bp 135/95 (history of preeclampsia). . When in the hospital they had such small portion s of food and I was told that I couldn't adjust my levels of insulin ... in 24 hrs I had 6 hypos two of which they were chucking lucozade down my throat...I begged for bigger portions to counteract the insulin or a reduction of insulin but the midwife on the ward refused... I demanded to see my obstetrician and when he seen me and my notes he was genuinely concerned for me and my baby girl s health and got me started ... ill never forget that day.. I can still remember him going bananas at the midwives for the way I was treated. .
