Hi Ladies
I am currently @ 40+6 and my Dr will not allow me to go past 41+3 so has scheduled an induction for Monday morning.
I am extremely anxious with fetal movements not always feeling like they should and so far I am only 1 cm dilated, no contraction and have been losing plug daily since 39+1 so not 100% sure if I'll go into natural labor or not.
Anyway, I was advised that I will be given an oral solution to induce labor called Cytotec. I wanted to Google some to get myself prepared but most almost all the articles that come up are VERY OLD and some look very negative so I don't want to go into that any further.
Have any of you had Cytotec for previous labors or anyone who can share some experience on this? I obviously trust my Dr and know the hospital would not administer it if it wasn't safe... I just need to get rid of some of my anxiety now
