Hi all
I may well be having another section. I never wore one of these with my first - in fact didn't know they existed. Are they any good - love the idea of extra support but worry they are waste of money or would make things worse but with a toddler and newborn could be good idea???

I honestly never knew they existed. They actually gave me one in the hospital that I only wore the night after my surgery and then I took it off because I got too hot and didn't fully understand what it was. I was a little out of it when they told me lol. They actually sent it home with me, I tried putting it on but it was really uncomfortable and didn't fit since I started to swell once I got home from all of the iv fluids. I tried it again once the swelling went down and it was uncomfortable and once I took it off it hurt like hell! It's hard to explain, it was holding back my stomach and once I took it off all that pressure released at once and with my muscles and stomach still being sore it wasn't a great feeling, so I never put it back on. I have heard they are great though, but I didn't like it. I'm not sure what others are out there though, and they might have some that are way more comfortable than the ones at the hospital.

I wore one for about 3-4 weeks after- it was a GOD SEND! I am a large woman and now after twins have a belly flap  and the wrap held every thing in place and made it comfortable for me to get out and do things every day (Went to the hospital/nicu every ay for a month)

My doctor actually ordered it for me while I was still in the hospital and my insurance paid for it
