just wondering if anyone knows anything about this? or have done this themselves?
im on mat leave at the moment and i am getting £20 a week child benefit and £20 a week tax credit. this is based on last years earnings. but im now on mat leave and we are skint.
do you think if i ring up the tax ppl and state that i am getting benefits based on last years full time wage but really this year im only getting a quater of that wage as im on sat mat pay, they will take this into consideration and relook at my tax credits?
i should hopefully get more as it would be based on 125 a week rather than full time wage of 300.
would this work or am i being too hopeful? hope ot makes sense...i know what i mean dunno how to write it down!!
