Hi

Just looking for some recommendations for the best bottles for windy or sicky babies. My LO keeps getting hiccups and has been a little sick after putting him down after bottles - despite winding.

I am using MAM anti-colic bottles but if anyone had any better recommendations.

Thanks

Kat

i use the Tommee Tippee anit colic ones and theyve worked wonders for Alfie he has reflux and struggles with wind but since weve been using these bottles hes been 100% better.

i think there £15 for 2 and we got them from babies r us.

I can't recommend Dr Browns enough!
Honestly buy one and give it a go if you can and you will never go back lol x

Dr Brown are awesome. My 1st son suffered with colic and we were told to get these bottles back then - I didn't hesitate with this one - you wont look back I promise!

we use dr browns bottles which work pretty well, I think you should see your gp just to make sure there isn't an underlying problem, also try making sure you keep him upright for at least half an hour after feeds to help :flower:

I just started using Tommee Tippee Anti Colic and they have worked wonders, has cut down the half an hour winding time to a minute or so and even then hardly any burps!

We now use Dr.Browns and they are fantastic, cant recommend them enough! We were using TT anti colic and they were rubbish they gave her so much wind it was unbelievable

I had a bad experience with the Tommee Tippee ones as well.

How funny how different ones suit different babies!! I may get some Dr Brown ones to compare!

We changed over to DR Brown on the weekend and there has been a big difference in how LO feeds, she had a trouble latching on to tommee tippee and avent but she really likes the DR Brown teats and will re attach where before she hated going back on the teats after winding so she wasn't eating enough, she is able to eat more and seems more contented at feeding time, she used to scream alot with the other bottles, it was horrible. They really have changed feeding time for us and her wind has been reduced x

Sorry to highjack thread but those who recommended dr brown bottles do yours not leak? EVERYTIME I used mine they leaked (I had a pack of two and they both did) so I took them back and got my money back for them. Perhaps I should try them again? But EVERYTIME I made a feed up I would shake the bottle (to mix up) and there would be splashes everywhere and therefore less feed in the bottle aswell - it seriously wound me up, it wasn just a little bit, they leaked bad!

Edit: I did also used that cap which goes inside the teat (if you know what I mean)

I've had issues with them leaking when I put the lid on them and then put them in the diaper bag...but no issues with them leaking when shaking the formula.

You cant shake Dr. Browns bottles (it's there in the instruction), You either move it between your hands to stir the formula or use a a baby spoon to stir the formula. If you shake it the formula will go into the vent thing in the middle & it will cause the spilling. Mine never leaked.
