Hi Ladies,
I know I am very early in the game still but was hoping you might help me determine what bottles are best these days? My other two kids are 10 & 12 so I've been out of the game for a longgggggg time. Hubby and I like to go to look at baby stuff and the amount of different kinds of bottles is overwhelming. I will have no idea what to register for when the time comes! I did not produce any breast milk with my two kids so am fully expecting to happily formula feed. Thanks in advance! :flower:

We originally planned to breastfeed so we bought Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature because they're supposed to be good for those who plan to express feed. But, we switched to formula after a week.

We were using the Playtex with the disposable liners but that became such a hassle that we decided to go ahead and use the Tommee Tippee and we love them :) LO doesn't really get much gas with them and she drinks well from them.

We switched from tommee tippee closer to nature to dr browns as my lo suffers with trapped wind. I really like them x

we use tommee tippee closer to nature bottles, im happy with them :)

I initially breastfed and brought tommee tippee closer to nature :) We continued using them when we switched to formula and they are amazing. He hardly gets any wind and he can feed easily from them x

Thank you ladies. Neither brand are anything I would have looked at!

Another vote for Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature! We have never had any issues with these bottles. :] The teat sizes worked better for LO than the Avent sizes, but Avent bottles were ok too, they seem better now that LO is a bit older. Never tried any others except Dr Browns (briefly - didn't help with LO's fussiness and were more fiddly so went back to TTCTN).

We went through a few different bottles.... Started with breastflow, she hated them. Then went to Avent - gave her horrible belly aches and constant spit up.

Then we discovered Dr. Browns, and I swear by them. I have gotten them for shower gifts and recommended them to every mom/future mom I know!

Dr browns in the beginning
PROS
-good for reflux
-fit well in diaper bags
-have different nipple flows
CONS
-pain in the butt to clean all the pieces
-leak if you don't screw everything in really tight

Playtex nursers with drop in liner
PROS
-easy to clean! (compared to months of dr browns)
-different nipple flow options
-look/feel like a breast
-hold 8oz easily
CONS
-don't fit well in changing bag pockets
-pain to have to buy disposible liners

Dr Brown's are great but I had to switch to Avent as they are larger. I actually prefer Avent.
